The FBI agent that helps her, Jason has feelings for her too, but Wyatt wins her heart and her free future with Scarlett, her daughter. May 18, Michael Young rated it really liked it. It is full of puzzles and action, but also brings in a love story that was tastefully done so that it enhanced the action instead of overshadowing Wrong Number.

The novel follows a woman who accidently overhears about a crime over the phone. She is put in witness protection and by the FBI and finds out that not even then is she safe. Forging out on her own, she has to unravel the mysterious message she heard on the phone in order to protect herself and her young child. The story and the writing are brisk and if I had only one complaint it would be that it feels like it gets over too fast, Wrong Number.

The characters and plot were so interesting that I wanted them to stick around a while longer. That being said, I hope that Rachelle has more to come, as her debut novel was very promising. May 04, Katie W rated it really liked it Shelves: mystery-suspense.

This book was very suspenseful, but not over the top. I enjoyed it. I thought the author did a good job in keeping the mystery going and in developing the main character, Aubree.

The story literally took off from page two and never slowed down. I especially liked the second half of the book, where familiar places were talked of Bear Lake and Logan, especially.

Aubree Stewart has her husband's cell phone and receives a strange call that talks about a crime. She finally tells the caller that he h This book was very suspenseful, but not over the top. She finally tells the caller that he has the wrong number and she is now a witness and on a run for her life. I don't know about anyone else that has read this book, but I had a hard time putting the book down.

The suspense in this book in places really got me and I was trying to figure out who the leak Wrong Number, why and how they kept finding Aubree.

I was so mistrustful of everyone, I even wondered if the park ranger wasn't really who he said he was Mar 04, Nichole Giles rated it it was amazing Shelves: women-s-fictionthrillerromancesuspense.

Rachelle Christensen weaves a tale of intrigue, suspense, and romance that is sure to please readers of all genres. It's a heart-warming, heart-pounding story. I recommend it! Jun 10, Gaye rated it it was ok. Oddly paced. I felt like it was a pushme-pullyou. At times the writing was tight and nicely done, at other times it felt amateurish and like trudging a long path to nowhere.

I must admit that I read to the end though to find out if she would wrap it up in a predicted pretty package. Feb 12, Melissa rated it liked it Shelves: mysteryyoung-adult.

This would be a fun mystery for the YA crowd. It was Wrong Number pretty good mystery. A bit predictable, but fun. There were some duh moments where it seemed the heroine didn't use her brain, but on the whole it was pretty good. It was a fast read.

I liked her other mystery Caller ID better. This is my first romantic suspense novel! I'm thrilled to see it listed here on Goodreads. I hope you enjoy it!

When Aubree Stewart leaves her home one day with her husband's cell phone instead of her own, she has no idea that her whole life is about to be upended. She's driving to work Wrong Number she receives a phone call. The voice on the other end is not one she recognizes, and what's more, the man says he has taken care of it and the body is in a manhole.

She reports the call. Sure enough, there is a body down a manhole. If that weren't scary enough, simply by answering th What if this happened to you? If that weren't scary enough, simply by answering the phone, she has made herself and her family targets for--whoever these people are.

That's just the beginning. Like many thrillers, there's the "what if" factor. What if something seemingly ordinary, that happens to us all, was really much more than that? Something dangerous? Where would that chain of events lead? There was a lot I liked about this one. Aubree was a strong character. I thought her reactions were believable.

She's 7 months pregnant in the beginning of the story, and I was about that when I read it. Gave me a personal perspective on it all, I guess. The mystery itself was good--it kept me reading to find out what was going on. I was lukewarm about the romance. It was not as believable as the rest. Our hero came along and was willing to overlook a whole lot for her sake, while she came to trust him rather quickly, considering everything she had been through.

I blog at: www. Loved this story. Good story line with interesting characters. Really liked how the story came together. Read it years ago, and have been looking for it again, but couldn't remember the name. Dec 13, Tena rated it it was amazing. This book gets you hooked right from the start. When a simple phone call can change your like, what would you do? When your life is turned upside down and you have no control, what would you do?

Suspenseful and exciting, who can you trust! A great read for anyone. Mar 30, Eva rated it it was amazing. This was a fun thriller! It's an FBI mystery with romance. I could not put it down! If you aren't on the edge of your seat with the actual case, you're reading about the romance. I recommend it to all ages and also recommend not reading it alone at night.
